A Female Stunt Driver Died On The Set Of Deadpool 2

A female stunt driver died on the set of movie Deadpool 2 during a bike stunt on Monday. A witness said that motorcyclist crashed her bike in Jack Poole Plaza in the Canadian city of Vancouver. The victim identified as SJ Harris. According to Vancouver Police:

That crash is the part of the movie scene but they soon realized that something bad has happened. The studio who is making Deadpool 2 said in their statement,” Our hearts and prayers are with the family, friends, and colleagues of our crew during this difficult time.”

 

The rider was “standing on the bike, slams into that building, clearly… out of control and clearly not planned.”

‘Deadpool 2’ is the sequel to 2016 film ‘Deadpool’ starring Ryan Reynolds. After this tragedy, Ryan released his own statement on Twitter. He is saying,”Today, we tragically lost a member of our crew while filming Deadpool. We are heartbroken, shocked and devasted but recognize nothing can close to the grief and inexplicable pain her family and loved ones must feel in this moment.”

Deadpool 2 has a 2018 release date. The shooting of the movie began in late June. Just a day before, Tom Cruise injured himself on the set of Mission Impossible 6, during a stunt.
